Blackest Red by P. T. Michelle

Blackest Red is the final book in the In the Shadows series and we finally get to find out what happens to Sebastian and Talia, or rather Mister Black and Little Red. Full of mystery and romance this series isn’t one to be missed.

 Synopsis

No matter how hard I’ve tried to let go of Mister Black, the memories of us together torture me. They’re an unforgettable reminder of a life I can’t have for many reasons.

Burying myself in work mostly keeps thoughts of him to a screaming minimum, until he’s thrust into my life under circumstances beyond my control. Despite my need for his protection, this time I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to survive with my heart intact.

He is Black: a fierce protector and irresistible charmer.

I am Red: a trouble magnet and rainbow weaver.

Together we ignite. Explosive colors merging at the hottest melting point.

NOTE: BLACKEST RED is meant for readers 18+ due to mature content.

This is part 3 in the IN THE SHADOWS series and is approximately 369 print pages.

The series must be read in the following order: MISTER BLACK (part 1), SCARLETT RED (part 2), and BLACKEST RED (part 3).

Review

At the end of the previous book Sebastian has saved Talia from a some what mentally unstable serial killer who was out for Talia’s head. Having finally revealed that the charming yet annoying pilot Bash is actually her Mister Black, Talia was left conflicted once more as Sebastian makes it clear he’s only out for her body not her heart – relationships are not something he’s capable of.

We re-join Talia 6 months on whilst she’s getting ready for her new book’s week long tour and book signings. A story based on her own mystery and close brush with death it’s looking to be a big success.

But solving mysteries doesn’t only happen in Talia’s books and after numerous threats to her life if she goes ahead and releases her story, her book signings are looking a lot more sinister. When it becomes apparent these threats aren’t going away Talia is assigned a bodyguard for the tour.

Can you guess who her new bodyguard may be?

You guessed it, it’s none other than her Mister Black himself.

Forced into spending everyday together Talia must fight Sebastian’s advances if only to protect her heart. But with a passion like theirs sparks are bound to fly.

As her stalkers become bolder, Talia’s life depends on them solving this final mystery together. But as both of their pasts come back to haunt them, will they manage to come out of this unscathed?

Sebastian Blake is definitely a man whose hard to resist but will Talia risk her heart and take a chance on him? And will Sebastian finally learn how to let someone in, not only into his life but also his heart?

Full of passion and mystery Blackest Red is the perfect finale to this drama-filled series. Talia and Sebastian’s chemistry set the page on fire and Talia’s mystery stalker and threats give this romance an edge that will leave you begging for more! Loved every minute of this series and devastated it’s now at it’s end. I will definitely be looking out for more of P.T. Michelle after this epic series!

Passion. Suspense. Mystery. Blackest Red is definitely not to be missed.
