Grind Synopsis:

Grind (verb): to weaken or destroy gradually

Macy Carrington is not the woman I once thought her to be.

What she does not allow her heart to feel, she gives with her body. The sex between us is explosive and depraved. I’ve done things with her that would never have crossed my wildest imagination, and I can’t ever seem to get enough.

But now I want more from her. I want to figure out her dark secret, expose it and then help her to heal from it. I know, without a doubt, that Macy is capable of love, and I will grind her down until I make her accept the truth of it.

Grind (verb): to wear down, polish, or sharpen by friction

Cal Carson is not the man I once thought him to be.

Strong, determined, sexy as hell and a beast in the bedroom. He is every woman’s fantasy.

He is my fantasy.

But no matter how hard Cal tries to grind me down, my heart and secrets are mine and mine alone.

REview

I love this series! Cal and Macy just keep on getting better, and as book 2 is a full length novel there’s even more to enjoy!

After having a taste of what being with Macy is like, Cal can’t stop thinking about their time together. What’s more everything he thought he knew about her doesn’t add up to the woman in front of him. Questioning his judgement of her, Cal can’t help but be intrigued – who is Macy Carrington?

Macy is in trouble and needs Cal’s help. After their wild meeting she’s seen a side to Cal she didn’t know existed. As Cal helps her with her new found problems, she can’t help but fall more under his spell. But there are things he doesn’t know, things she can’t stand to think about. If she really wants to try something with Cal, she’ll have to tell him eventually – but will she be able to let it go, for him?

Cal can tell Macy is hiding something. They’re starting to grow closer and lines start to blur. He wants her in his life but can tell she’s holding back. Will he be able to convince her that what they have is worth the risk?

Cal and Macy are HOT, HOT, HOT! Their relationship is fiery and passionate – you will be routing for them until the very end! I must admit at first I wasn’t too sure about Macy but after book 2 as you start to understand her more you can’t help but fall for her too! Sawyer Bennett has definitely done it again with this series! Can’t wait for the final book now 🙂
