This isn’t the man I married.

The man I married was strong, beautiful and pure.

The man I married cherished our lives together.

The man I married loved me.

This…this isn’t that man.

One night. One accident. It changes everything.I wish I could tell you the exact moment he fell out of love with me.

I wish I could tell you there was hope. That I hung on. That I fought.

I wish I could tell you that we fixed it.

That happily ever after was just out of our grips. It wasn’t. I ran. In the dead of the night, I packed my things and I left him.

Now I’m back. He’s still the same man. A deadly underground fighter for the House Of Obsidian. He’s still dangerous. He’s still broken. I still love him.

This is the part where I’m supposed to turn back around and run… But I don’t.

Reviews

WOW! I’ve been eagerly waiting for the release of this book and I wasn’t disappointed! Now I can’t I can’t wait for more!

Anabelle met the man of her dreams whilst at college. She loved Max with everything she had and when she married him it was the happiest day of her life. But years later everything changed, Max changed, and she left without looking back.

Alone and pregnant she ran back to her family, completely broken. For five years she stayed away and raised their daughter Imogen on her own, but when her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer she had no choice but to move back to take care of her. With no room for her or Immy at her mother’s she takes a room with Pippa, befriending her as well as the MC and their women.

Now back in town she knows it’s only a matter of time before she’ll see Max again, and as their daughter is older she thinks maybe it’s time to see if he’s changed and could be a good father to Immy. But she wasn’t prepared for the man he had turned into – or for him to want her back.

Both Max and Belle have done things they aren’t proud of. There are lies that must be forgiven and pain that must be dealt with before they can be together again. Will Belle be able to forgive Max for pushing her away and can Max get over Belle keeping his daughter away from him for 5 years?

I absolutely adored this book! Max and Belle’s story was heart-wrenching and utterly beautiful. I loved every minute of their blossoming romance, their painful separation and their drama filled reunion. Their chemistry was off the charts and will undoubtedly set your ereaders alight! I consumed this book in one sitting, and it held me captive from start to finish. I cannot wait to read Rainer and Raide’s stories now!
