Highway Song by Jessa Jacobs

Today Jessa Jacobs brand new series of Smokey’s Roadhouse Novels starts with book #1 Highway Song!

Blurb
How did that famous quote from that old movie go? Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world…Well, this was a biker bar, not a gin joint, and there wasn’t really a town nearby. But to have my long-lost stepbrother show up in the very place I’d washed up a month earlier like flotsam from a shipwreck – that was the same kind of irony.

Thank God he wouldn’t recognize me. I’d been ten years old when he last saw me seventeen years ago. Too bad for my battered heart that I now recognized what I’d only sensed as a child. My stepbrother the rock star was hot.

Review

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I started this novel but as always Jessa Jacobs did not disappoint. Full of raw emotion, sizzling chemistry and drama Highway Song was a fabulous read!

Saying Amy has had a tough life would be putting it mildly. Having suffered abuse at the hand of her father from a young age, she ran away to escape him only to fall prey to more men who only wanted to use and abuse her. When she finally got help and things started to look up, she witnessed something she should never have seen and has been running ever since.

Now years later she’s working at Smokey’s Roadhouse, hiding in a deserted area hoping never to be found. The last thing she expected was Rex to walk into the bar, now a semi-famous rock star but still irresistibly attractive. Once upon a time he was her Step-brother for a while, before her father’s abuse drove him and his mother away, leaving 10 year old Amy behind.

She remembers him but he doesn’t recognise her. Their chemistry is undeniable and sooner or later sparks will fly. Will they be able to find happiness with each other or will Amy’s past continue to haunt them both?

This book – wow! I was blown away by the amount of raw emotion in this book – the things that Amy’s character has had to endure. I loved Amy and Rex’s relationship and the drama that unfolded between them. Amy’s past mixed in with Rex’s famous rock band world made for some great drama! I would highly recommend this awesome new series!

Rex

“Holy fuck!”

I was lifting a mug of ice-cold draft beer for my first swig when the exclamation from our manager, Mark Brent, caused me to miss and splash half of it over my hands as I flinched. The sound of Mark’s chair hitting the floor as he jumped to his feet accompanied his exclamation. I jerked my head up, getting ready to rip him a new one, only to see him running out the front door of the bar. I set my remaining beer down quickly and then followed Mark at a brisk pace, along with the others.

As soon as I was out the front door, the rest of the band members clustering around me, I saw the reason for Mark’s alarm. The bus was on fire.

Joe, the driver had an inadequate-looking fire extinguisher aimed underneath the vehicle, where black smoke roiled out unchecked by the foam. As soon as the guys saw what was going on, pandemonium broke loose. Unlike bigger bands, ours traveled with no crew. Our instruments and accessories, all but a drum kit, were in the luggage hold, perilously near the fire. Ike, the drummer, was the only one who didn’t run to the bus to rescue equipment, besides me.

I froze for half a second, and then used lungs more used to belting out rock music to yell. “Guys! Get away from there! It could go up. Holy shit, it’s just things.” Axel, Kirk and Cole ignored me, while Mark took off after them. I turned to Ike. “Call 911!”

“Rex, take a look around. There’s no town. This is just a shitty little biker bar in the middle of BFE-nowhere Wyoming. Where do you think a fire crew is going to come from?”

I lifted my gaze and stared out at the highway stretching from the east horizon to the west. Ike was right. Not a building in sight, other than Smokey’s Roadhouse, the bar where we’d stopped for lunch. The smoke from under the bus was dissipating though. Maybe the fire extinguisher had been enough after all.

Mark had managed to pull Cole, the bass player, away from the bus, but the two guitarists were still banging on the luggage hold, as if that would make it magically open. I couldn’t blame them. Between them, they probably had thousands of dollars’ worth of back line in that hold.

By rights it should have been in a crew bus. Even as I watched the bus destroy what might be our last chance to make it before some of the guys bailed on me, I knew it was my fault. Extinction wasn’t just our band name. It was a real possibility for our careers if this damn fire meant the bus wasn’t road-worthy.

Amy

He didn’t recognize me, thank God. I couldn’t afford for anyone to know who or where I was. After I calmed down, I reasoned it out. It had been seventeen years since he’d last seen me, and I was only ten at the time. There wasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell he’d know me now. Not only had I grown up, I’d grown up hard.

On the other hand, I knew what that cool once-over meant. His eyes lingered on my cleavage a second too long. If I knew men, and I had good reason to, he’d make a play for me sometime tonight. I couldn’t let that happen under any circumstances. It would just be too weird, even though our relationship was less than nothing.

His mother had married my father nineteen years ago. Like most of the women Dad attracted, she took off soon, though she did manage to last two years. She took her seventeen-year-old son with her. She hugged me before she left, and whispered, “I wish I could take you with me, honey, but he’d come after us. I’ll report him to the authorities.”

I had no idea what that meant, then. And if she did, it went nowhere. My dad needed a substitute punching bag, and I got nominated by default. Whenever I hid from him, I pretended my big stepbrother, Rick, would find me and take me with him this time. But his last words to me, “See you kid,” never came true. I hadn’t seen him again, until now.

The men at the table with Rick called him Rex. I’d changed my name too. During the course of an otherwise slow afternoon, I gathered a few bits of information as I served them. They were a band—a rock band I assumed—and their bus had caught fire in our parking lot. It looked like it wasn’t going anywhere soon. My boss, Smokey, said it would probably take the rest of the day for a mechanic to get here to assess the damage. Highway 80 had plenty of traffic, but it was a long stretch of just about nothing from Rawlins to Rock Springs.

So, maybe it won’t come as a surprise that in my books you’ll find hot alpha male book-boyfriends, sassy heroines who are much more clever and beautiful than I am, and stories I hope will make you laugh and cry while reading them, as I did while writing them. Rope Burn by Em Petrova

Today marks the release of the next Boot Knockers Ranch book Rope Burn!!! Yet another scorching read!

Blurb
She wants to turn up the heat. He’s got the skills to whip her into a frenzy.

TV food show host Tabbart Tracy works hard to give viewers her best recipes. But while her fans are legion, her personal life is colder than a meat locker. Most men just want her to serve up some pie—in the nude. One glance at her assistant’s sexy brother, though, and her body skips straight from low simmer to rolling boil. Especially when she tracks him down at a stud ranch. Where he’s the stud.

When a certain little TV foodie personally requests Stowe’s company for a week, he’s flattered as hell. She needs to give up some control, and as a sex therapist otherwise known as the “Dom from Down Under”, Stowe has the leather, rope, and paddles to do it.

Just as Tabbart melts into a puddle under Stowe’s hands, her worst fear chills her back to reality: someone recognizes her. Worse, her Master frowns on opening her checkbook to make it all go away. But trusting him means hanging onto their connection with both hands—while he takes her for the ride of her life.

Warning: This book contains a TV chef looking for some R&R (as in rough and raunchy) and a whip-wielding Aussie cowboy Dom intent on showing her she can take the heat. As hot as—and anywhere—she wants it.

Review
I love this series, each book has such a different story and who doesn’t like a hot cowboy?! In this book, Tabbart is a famous TV chef whose flawless style is as well known as her flavour combinations. She’s worked hard to get where she is but it hasn’t been easy – her personal life is practically non-existent. After a long string of shows she’s had enough and decides it’s time for a break.

When her assistant’s brother visits the set their chemistry is undeniable. And when she finds out he’s a Boot Knocker, her holiday destination is settled. Locked away in a cabin with Stowe, hiding away from judging eyes, she enjoys one of the best weeks of her life. She was expecting amazing sex and she certainly got a lot of that. But she wasn’t expecting to feel anything for Stowe other than lust. When their week is up she doesn’t want it to end and asks for more.

Locked away at the ranch Tabbart and Stowe can just be with one another and not deal with anyone else. But will their scorching chemistry and budding relationship survive in the real world?

Absolutely loved this book!! When I read about Stowe in previous books I always wanted to know more and he did NOT disappoint in this book. Tabbart and Stowe have amazing chemistry which had my kindle burning up, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about their love affair. I would definitely recommend a stay with this Boot Knocker 😉 !

Then she saw it—a glimpse of black. A pickup truck with the door hanging open. She barely had time to conjure the words of the greeting she’d prepared when her door opened and a big male arm reached inside. Sprinkled with dark hair, a thick leather watch strapped around the wrist.

Her mind was wiped clean as she looked into a set of very dark eyes staring at her from under the black hat she’d come to know so well. The upward curl of his lip made her heart turn over painfully, then gallop out of control. She sat there like an idiot.

He gripped her hands and pulled her to her feet. She locked her knees to keep from falling over, then Stowe’s trim backside moved away from her. He opened the trunk of the car and hauled her luggage out.

When he spun and fixed her in his gaze again, she released the breath she’d been holding. Her pulse pounded in her ears. God, she was acting like a young girl with her first crush. She was a grown woman. She was…

At a sex ranch with the man of her fantasies.

Her pussy clenched.

“This all you got?” he drawled in that hot accent.

“Y-yes.” Stutter activated.

He grasped her forearm as he passed. The warmth and roughness of his hand on her bare arm scalded. Sweat broke out on her forehead. He opened the passenger door of the truck for her and guided her inside, then dumped her suitcase in the bed.

Her hand twitched to shove her glasses up and get a real look at him, but she couldn’t blow her cover. She watched as he swaggered back to the silver car, pulled his wallet from the back pocket of worn jeans—molded to his fine ass—and took out some bills. He handed them to the driver through the window. Then he tapped the car roof twice and the driver moved off in a new cloud of dust.

I’m alone with him. In the middle of nowhere. He could do anything to her. Strip her, fuck her. God, she wanted both.

Surge (Fastlane #1) by Sloan Storm

Today is the day! Dyson Vix has officially arrived! Surge by Sloan Storm is the first book in the brand new Fastlane series about the hot racers of Formula 1! You NEED to read this book!

Blurb

Dyson Vix. The bad boy of Formula One Racing.

The first time I met him he was completely naked, and he couldn’t have cared less.

The second time I saw Dyson, he just stood there, staring at me. His fire suit hung low on his waist, and his body was dripping in sweat, grease and… well, you get the idea.

The ultimate playboy, there isn’t a hairpin turn he can’t handle or a woman he can’t have. Dyson lives life like he drives – hard, determined, and like it might be his last day.

We couldn’t have been more different. After a family tragedy, I’ve been left to raise my nephew, Simon, all alone. Raising him has given me more joy than I could’ve imagined, but it came at a price. He is my entire world, and everything I do is with him in mind. I haven’t had a date in months, instead focusing solely on him. Man troubles are the last thing we need, especially the kind reckless thrill seeker Dyson Vix would bring.

But fate has other ideas.

I’ve been thrust into his fast-paced world, and the more time I spend with him — the more I see of the troubled man behind the roguish charm — the more my resolve crumbles. Our chemistry is undeniable but isn’t without risk. Jealousy and threats to my home life mean I could lose everything I’ve worked so hard to protect.

The stakes have never been higher. Will we make it, or are we destined to crash and burn?

Review

This is a fast-paced, heart pumping roller-coaster ride of a book! There’s drama, romance and some moments that are both heart breaking and utterly hilarious! I could NOT put this book down!

Ava hasn’t had the easiest time of late. When her sister died she became the sole carer of her nephew Simon. Whilst she completely loves and adores him her life was irrevocably changed. Her plans for med school were put on hold and she instead became a nurse to pay both the bills and Simon’s school fees.

When a drop dead gorgeous F1 driver turns up at the hospital with 2 Grid Girls in tow she’s less than impressed. His arrogant, cocky attitude was frustrating in every possible way. Not to mention his little sexcapade in the exam room when she left him in their with the girls. So when she’s offered the chance to become the team’s medic she’s hesitant to say the least. But with the money they’re offering and her desperate need for funds she can’t refuse.

When Ava didn’t know Dyson, only his playboy ways, he was easy to resist but when she starts to see the man behind the charm her resistance begins to crumble. A playboy driver is the last thing her and her little family need but how long will Dyson allow her to tell him no?

Holy smokes this book! Dyson and Ava’s chemistry is simply off the charts, and their passion coupled with the drama and emotion this book is crammed full of, made it incredibly hard to put down – in fact I devoured it in one sitting! I can NOT wait for more of this series. If it’s anything like Surge we are in for a real treat! I mean Dyson? Totally yummy 😉

It wasn’t the first time I’d seen a man’s bare ass first thing in the morning.

But one that… perfect?

No.

Never.

With my fingers still wrapped around the door handle, I froze in place, my eyes inappropriately fixed on the man’s partially exposed, lean and muscular backside. Morning sunlight shined on him through the exam room window, casting the shadow of his hard body beneath the thin fabric of the exam gown.

I stood there for a moment too long, temporarily forgetting I was there to do my job. Just then, the man, who had been looking out the window, turned in my direction.

We locked eyes. He arched an eyebrow.

Shit.

As quickly and as subtly as I could, I averted my gaze and instead snapped my eyes to his chart which I held in my free hand. Around the same time, a strong odor of over-applied perfume entered my awareness. What’s worse, it smelled like a mix of cotton candy and sweat—cheap and tacky.

Continuing into the room, the source of the aroma appeared in my peripheral vision. To my left sat two women. One a blonde, the other, a redhead. They looked to be in their early to mid-twenties, around my age, and by the way they dressed, not from around here—Austin that is.

“Hello,” I said, flashing a polite smile at them.

Their eyes met mine with an icy glare. They didn’t respond.

I looked away from them and back towards the man.

“Mr.… Vix?”

He took an extra second to reply. His eyes wandered along my body.

Wow? Really?

At last, he nodded and looked at me. “Dyson,” he said.

The door to the exam room closed behind me with a hiss of the hydraulic swing arm.

“All right,” I began, shaking my head a bit.

“Dyson… Dr. Wilcox will be in in just a moment. In the meantime, I need to check your vital signs.”

Dyson walked towards me and stopped about a foot or so away.

“Should I disrobe?”

I blinked. Clearing my throat, I stammered a response, “Um, n-no. That won’t be necessary.”

He winked at me. “Another time then.”

This had to be a joke.

I straightened my spine and nodded in the direction of the exam table. “Have a seat, Mr. Vix.”

But instead of walking towards the table, the man looked at me again.

“It’s Dyson.”

“Right, my apologies. Have a seat, Dyson.”

The thin tissue paper covering the length of the table crinkled and crackled as he sat down on it. Dyson swung his legs casually over the side and hooked his hands along the padded edge. Composing myself, I spent the next few minutes getting his vital signs without any further interruptions.

Once finished, I looked at him.

“Dyson, I need to draw some blood for the tests we’re required to take. Do needles bother you?”

My eyes locked on his. They were a shade of blue that I’d never seen before. Blueish gray, like steel. He reached up and slid his fingers through his dirty-blonde hair.

“Nope,” he replied with an easy shrug.

“Don’t bother me at all.”

From behind, I sensed the two women watching our exchange. Their silence was the only clue I needed that they were more than just friends with him.

A couple of minutes later, I’d finished drawing his blood.

Only one thing remained before Dr. Wilcox would come in and conduct the full exam. I walked to the other side of the exam room, picked up a urine sample cup and made my way back towards him, extending it in his direction.

One corner of his mouth turned upward in a deviant curl. Wordless, he eased off the exam table, took it from me, and passed by on the way to the restroom, next to the entrance of the exam room.

My head moved on a swivel while he walked. Dyson made no effort to cinch up the back of his exam gown. He stopped, catching me looking yet again. However, instead of saying anything, he gestured over his shoulder towards the two women.

“Is it okay if I have some company?”

My mouth drifted open. “I…”

The expression on his face was indecipherable. Was he being serious? The truth was, no one ever asked me a question like that during an exam before. On the other hand, nothing about this exam was normal so far.

Dyson chuckled at my lack of a reply. “Joke.”

I responded with an uneasy laugh.

Why was this guy making me feel like a thirteen year old?

Was I blushing?

I reached up and touched my cheek with a subtle swipe.

It felt like it.

Just then, Dyson began to toss the cup in the air with casual flicks of his hand. He gestured towards the women, pointing to the one on the left.

“That’s Svetlana,” he began before he nodded in the direction of the other one.

“And that’s Anastasia.”

Yep. Not from Austin.

Once he finished, he looked back at me and raised his eyebrows. I looked at him for a moment, not sure of the meaning. A second later, it dawned on me.

“Oh, I, um,” I said. “My name is Ava. Ava Walters.”

“Girls, keep Ava company while I’m gone.”

Seconds later, Dyson disappeared into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. I turned my attention back to the women, who seemed less thrilled with me now than ever.

“Anastasia and Svetlana?” I began, summoning all the politeness and professionalism I could. “Is that… are you Russian?”

They glanced at each other for a moment before cackling with laughter. Without answering me, they spoke to one another in a language I didn’t understand. Once they’d finished, they looked away from me and returned their attention to their phones.

I shook my head and tried to ignore their rudeness. Instead, I used the time to make notes in Dyson’s chart. Around that time, the door to the exam room opened. Dr. Wilcox walked inside, nodding in the direction of the women.

“Good morning,” he said.

Their attention never wavered from their phones. Dr. Wilcox approached me with a suspicious frown on his face.

“Mr. Vix? Where…?”

I nodded towards the bathroom.

“Ah, I see. Very good.” He extended his hand towards me, unfolding his fingers as he did.

“May I?”

I passed Dyson’s paperwork to him. Dr. Wilcox perused my notes for several moments.

“Do you need me for anything else, Dr. Wilcox?” I asked.

Dr. Wilcox raised his hand to his chin as he studied Dyson’s chart.

“No,” he muttered. “Not right now, thank you, Ava.”

With that, I turned and started to walk away, when Dr. Wilcox spoke once again.

“On second thought, Ava, there is something I need to discuss with you.”

I looked at him. “Yes?”

However, before he told me, the bathroom door opened, and Dyson appeared. He walked towards me with the nearly full sample cup in his hand. He shook it back and forth with a few quick snaps, causing the liquid inside to bubble.

“Be careful with that,” he said, passing it to me.

I took it from him. “Thank you. I will,” I deadpanned.

When I finished speaking, Dr. Wilcox introduced himself.

“Mr. Vix? I’m Dr. Wilcox.”

Dyson nodded. “Good to meet ya, Doc.”

Dr. Wilcox closed Dyson’s folder and patted it with his hand.

“Now that we’re done with your vital signs, blood work and the like, we just need to conduct a brief physical exam, and we’ll get you on your way. I know you’ve got to get back to the track.”

“All right,” Dyson replied.

“Would you like to do the exam one-on-one?” Dr. Wilcox said. “You know, have some privacy?”

Dyson shrugged.

“Doesn’t matter to me. Everyone can stay. I don’t care.”

Dr. Wilcox was the consummate professional, always putting the needs and comfort of his patients above everything else. Satisfied Dyson was ready to proceed, he nodded, “Okay then, we’ll have you disrobe first and then come back over to the exam table.”

Without wasting a second, Dyson dropped the gown to his feet.

Still holding the urine sample in my hand, I stared in slack-jawed awe. There was no getting around it. I leered at the man. While he hadn’t yet noticed me, the women did.

“Hey! Girl!” one of them growled at me in a thick European accent.

Dyson and Dr. Wilcox turned towards me.

“Is everything all right, Ava?” Dr. Wilcox asked.

Ignoring the girl, I nodded, refocused on the task at hand, and walked in the direction of Dr. Wilcox to assist with the examination. Picking up Dyson’s folder from the exam table, I opened it and readied myself to take notes for Dr. Wilcox, refusing to look at Dyson.

After all, one look was all I needed to know he was physical perfection. Lean, muscular, not to mention the most well-endowed man I’d ever seen. This exam couldn’t get over fast enough.

Review

I love this series so I was really excited to start  this one. The blurb really intrigued me too. Sophie has just broken things off with her girlfriend. She wants to settle down and start a family but her ex only wanted to focus on her career. Heart broken but determined to find her happiness Sophie moves in with her best friend and her boyfriend.

Though she loves her BFF, she isn’t so keen on the sofa bed nor the thin walls between her and the love birds’ bedroom. In fact she’s so desperate for somewhere with a mattress she agrees to move in with her arch nemesis Rocco.

He’s loud, crass and a complete player – their big personalities have always clashed. But he thinks she’s a lesbian so she thought she’d be safe from his charm. Oh how wrong she was.

As they grow closer they realise that they have more in common than they thought, and their chemistry is off the charts. But Rocco has more going on than he’s letting on. Will they be able to pull through it together and put the energy they put into fighting into loving each other instead?

Really Loved this book!! It was funny, emotional, HOT and a real roller-coaster! Absolutely love the characters too. A real 5 star read!

If I poke him, will it be like waking an angry bear? I’m tempted, but I won’t. That’d be a bitchy thing to do. We might be living under the same roof, but we lead separate lives. And that’s how I want it. Completely separate. Removed. His business is his, and mine is mine. I take a step backward and step on something metal. I crouch down and pick up a spoon. I look around underneath the coffee table, and find an empty glass bowl with remnants of green an inch below the rim.

Snatching up the bowl, the cruel absence of what I was planning to eat when I got home tonight mocks me.

The motherfucker ate my jelly.

“Hey,” I bark out with a hard shove to his shoulder.

Rocco grumbles and swings his head back violently, one eye open as he searches me out. “Who the … what the fuck?” he hisses. Rolling onto his side, he props himself up and falls back into the couch cushions and runs his fingers down his face. His dark brown, almost-black eyes drill me, as he runs his tongue over his bottom teeth. The whites of his eyes are scattered with red, and beads of sweat lace his brow and down the sides of his face. He looks like shit. More accurately, he looks like someone who greedily smashed a bottle of primo tequila last night.

“You ate my jelly,” I say, shoving the bowl towards him.

He shrugs and his lip curls to the side. “I was hungry,” he says with a challenging gaze.

“You were fucking hungry? I haven’t been here even twenty-four hours and you’re helping yourself to my food?”

He scoffs, and I want to punch him in the face.

“It’s jelly,” he says, with a roll of his eyes. “It’s like a dollar or some shit. I’ll buy a packet. Bloody hell, I’ll buy two. No need to get your fuckin’ panties in a bunch.”

He sits up and rakes his fingers back through the longer strands of dark hair on the top of his head. He slouches farther into the couch, one hand scratching at the faded black T-shirt adorning his chest, the other hand sliding between his legs and adjusting himself.

Fucking men.

“I’m not pissed about the fact it costs bugger all. I don’t touch your shit and you don’t touch mine. Got it?”

I turn on my heel, flicking my ponytail over my shoulder. I couldn’t be arsed waiting for his response. I can’t imagine I’ll like it anyway.

“Fine,” he grumbles.

“And would it kill you to put the bloody toilet seat down?” I throw at him as I walk out the door.

His laughter echoes into the stairwell, right before the door slams shut.

Arsehole.

First of all, Holy Smokes what a cliffhanger!! I didn’t even realise I had finished the book until I looked down and saw “Book Completed” – beware the cliffhanger here folks!

Thinking she won’t see him again Lexi puts him behind her but when she bumps into him twice more that day, she can’t help but notice him. He wants one night, what could go wrong?

I was really getting into this book when it ended! You get just about 2 days of Lexi and Coen’s life before the drama starts and you’re left hanging! I really liked Lexi and Coen together, their chemistry was HOT and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for them! Anxiously waiting for book 2 now to see what happens next!

And then I hear a voice that sends shivers up my spine.“Hey there, Havoc, too comfy on your bed here to come say hello to your buddy Coen?”

Coen. Shit. He’s here. Why is he here? How the? What the fuck is he doing here?

My eyes spring open and I’m on high alert. Maybe he won’t realize it’s me.

“Hey, Josh.” He says. I can hear his footsteps getting closer.

I’m lying here with a half finished tattoo. It’s not like I can take off running right now.

Well, I could I guess, but who wants an incomplete tattoo?

“Hey, Coen. What’s new man? What are you getting today?” Josh asks him.

“Mike’s just going to do a few touch ups. Nothing major planned this visit.” Coen says.

Oh good. He already had this in his plans then. He isn’t some psycho stalker that followed me here. I hope.

Suddenly I feel his finger, ever so lightly graze up my arm. It sends shivers up my spine and sets my insides on fire and my pulse through the roof. Why does this man, who I’ve only just met, make me so damn crazy?

“Hi, Lexi.” I hear him say behind me. His voice vibrates straight to my core. “We meet again so soon! What are the odds?” Someone else catches his attention and he stops. “Oh, hey Mike, there you are!” he booms in that raspy, sexy, voice of his and I hear his footsteps leaving my side.

Josh pauses tattooing briefly, squinting at me, and says, “You two know each other?”

Beloved (Irrationally His #5) by Jessa Jacobs

The final book in the Irrationally His serial is finally here!! Will Chelsea and Travis work it out?

BLURB

I finally had my big break, but would it mean I’d lose everything else I held dear?

To prepare for my show, I’d need to leave the ranch early. Would I ever see Travis again, after the inevitable funeral for his dad?

What was happening with my best friend? I felt she’d abandoned me, and what was worse, she couldn’t even tell me where she was – or wouldn’t.

At least I had a project to occupy my lonely days and nights. Otherwise, I might have been lost in the depressing circumstances of my life.

REVIEW

What a brilliant finale! We have all been waiting anxiously for Travis and Chelsea’s HEA and what an emotion filled one we were given! After Travis and Chelsea’s misunderstanding they have a lot to work through. With Chelsea’s career finally kicking off and Travis’ Dad getting worse every day they have a lot to contend with.

Travis still hasn’t told Chelsea about who he really is but with Cozy as his CFO and Chelsea about to sell a nude painting of him his time is running out. And once he’s finally told her the truth there’s just the small matter of telling everyone else about their relationship. Will they make it?

This was the perfect way to end the series. Really loved Travis and Chelsea’s journey together and this drama filled ending was perfect for them. Can’t wait to see what Jessa has in store next!

About Jessa Jacobs

Like you, I’m a reader. When I read a good story with characters I can connect with, my everyday existence fades into the background as I enter a world that may contain exotic locations, adventure and excitement. And, if I can be totally honest with you, in my favorite stories I can fall in love for a while with an impossibly gorgeous guy who is the best lover imaginable.

So, maybe it won’t come as a surprise that in my books you’ll find hot alpha male book-boyfriends, sassy heroines who are much more clever and beautiful than I am, and stories I hope will make you laugh and cry while reading them, as I did while writing them. Oh, and some scenes you may want to role-play with your lover.

Rock Star Redemption (Radical Rock Star #4) by Jenna Galicki

Rock Star Redemption is book 4 in the Radical Rock Star series by Jenna Galicki! Finally it’s Audra and Jimmy’s story!

Blurb
I live life in the fast lane.
My days and nights are a never-ending party of women, fast cars and alcohol.
I’m the one your daddy warned you about.
I have everything I ever wanted—except Audra Abelman.
She was always the good girl.
She was off limits.
I held out for almost a decade.
It’s time to set her inner bad girl free.
I’m Jimmy Wilder, and I’m going to claim the most sought after girl in the record industry.
Jimmy Wilder has the sex life every rock star dreams about. The notorious playboy of America’s number one punk rock band can have any woman he wants, except the one who holds his heart. This bad boy needs to curb his sinful ways before she’ll show any interest in him, but there’s one more problem—she’s the boss’s daughter.
Audra Abelman, heir to one of the most powerful record labels in the country, just landed her dream job as tour manager for her favorite band. She’s been Immortal Angel’s number one groupie for years, and she’s been privy to the out-of-control lifestyle of their radical drummer. Trapped on a tour bus with the charismatic Jimmy Wilder, she falls victim to his irresistible charm, but she refuses to compromise her ethics. He needs to get his life together before she’ll give him a second glance, but a bigger obstacle stands in their way—her father.

Review

This series has been one wild ride and this fourth book has to be my favourite! Jimmy Wilder is the epitome of a bad boy rock star. He drinks, parties and has a different girl, or girls, in his bed every night. With the rest of the band settling down he’s relishing being the only single bachelor in the band. But when Audra Abelman is announced as their tour manager and is set to spend all day every day with them on the tour bus he’s determined to make her his.

But his play boy ways make it hard for everyone to believe his pursuit is real. Not only does he need to prove himself to her, but also to her Dad, his bandmates, their groupies and the press. Will he be able to stop his manwhore ways?

Really enjoyed this book, Jimmy’s story definitely has to be my favourite from the band! Jimmy and Audra’s story was great and I loved the twists and turns. You will not be expecting it! This is one bad boy rock star you just have to meet!
