The Roommate Agreement by Emma Hart

banner-1.jpg

Let your homeless best friend stay with you, he said. Being roommates will be fun, he said. It’s only temporary, he said.

He never said I’d fall for him.

The Roommate Agreement, all-new hilarious and romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is available now!

ROOMMATEAGREEMENT-coverdraft1.jpg

SYNOPSIS

You know what isn’t ‘temporary?’ The endless stream of dirty socks in my bathroom and empty food packets under the sofa—and don’t even get me started on the hot guys who take over my living room every Sunday to watch sports.

I can’t take anymore.

So I propose a roommate agreement. One that will bring peace and order back to my life, complete with rules that might just stop my newfound crush on my best friend in its tracks.

After all, there’s only so many times you can see your best friend naked before you start to lose your mind.

Rules. They’re meant to be broken… Aren’t they?

REVIEW

Another Emma Hart book and yet another sleepless night spent reading it all in one sitting. I cannot get enough! As always it’s a feel good, laugh out loud kind of read 💗.

Shelby needs a roommate and her bestie needs a new place to stay. A match made in heaven right? Wrong. Jay is the messy to Shelbys tidy, the sports lover to her sports hater and generally the active one to her sloth way of living. He should be driving her insane, not becoming the object of her new crush….whilst also still driving her insane. But then opposites do attract right?! Determined to not ruin their friendship the two ignore their growing feelings but there are only so many fleeting looks (and stolen Oreos) that one can take. Will they finally admit their feelings or is their friendship not worth the risk? ….Or will Shelby finally have enough of his sock dropping and biscuit stealing and be forced to find an alternative use for the feather duster (it’s a serious matter after all) 😂

Absolutely loved this story! The characters as always were awesome, loved the sarcasm, the Oreo shenanigans and the sock dropping. Could not, and did not want, to put it down! A must read!

I was kindly gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tequila Tequila by Emma Hart

It’s here!! Grab some salt and limes and dive in now!

TT-Live3.jpg

Tequila + you best friend + your bedroom = um, whoopsie?

Tequila Tequila, an all-new hilarious standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!!

TT-FULL.jpg

SYNOPSIS

Don’t sleep with your best friend.

Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful.

I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad.

The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables.

Except I can’t forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt.

Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams.

But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with.

Which makes the tequila on my birthday a very, very bad idea…

review

Words cannot describe how much I loved and needed this book! Every single one of Emma’s books never fails to have me in fits of giggles but this one was something else, I swear I had a permanent smile the entire way through and now my face hurts (totally worth it)!

Aspen and Luke have been best friends forever, there is not a moment in the other one’s lives that they missed – including the good, the bad and most definitely the ugly. They’ve always acknowledged that the other is quite attractive but never thought anything of it. That was until their good friend Tequila got involved. After 1, 2…20 shots, Luke is carrying Aspen home only for their faces to accidentally get a bit too close and then the next thing they knew they were kissing. One thing led to another and lets just say that Aspen woke up with not only a banging headache but also a very naked Luke in her bed – oops. What’s more, it turns out tequila really doesn’t help your performance, if you catch my drift.

After a night from hell all Aspen wants to do is forget all about it, I mean how can she tell her best friend he was the worst she’s ever had? Cue extreme embarrassment. So when Luke seems to be totally clueless she decides to never breathe a word of that night ever again, if only to save Luke’s ego. But little did she know that Luke remembers everything in perfect (or not so perfect) detail….

Now faced with the knowledge that they both remember that fateful night, and that neither of them has been able to think of anything apart from what it would’ve been like sober – will they be able to remain best friends or will they become so much more?

As always I loved these two as the lead characters, Aspen in particular who was everything you would want in a snarky and feisty leading lady. I loved their chemistry and their teasing – could not put it down! But mainly, I absolutely loved Abuelita – she is the best and the craziest grandma I have ever known, both in fiction and real life! Highly, highly recommended!! Cannot wait for more from Emma 💗

Best Served Cold by Emma Hart

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Which is a real problem when the attraction runs red-hot.

Best Served Cold, an all-new standalone romantic comedy from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!

BESTSERVEDCOLD-cover4.jpg

Blurb

Trust me. I know. The only reason I decided to renovate my family’s ice-cream store was to serve up a sundae full of revenge for my a-hole ex who opened an ice-cream store right next to mine.

It was supposed to be simple.

Renovate. Reopen. Put his peachy butt out of business.

Until he decided to get under my skin—and broke my toe.

Now, I’m stuck with Chase in my store every day, helping me renovate. But he’s also in my head, and I’m spending a little too much time up against his abs.

Not that it’s the worst place to be.

But it doesn’t change anything. I still hate him, and I’m still going to get my revenge.

Right?

live2.jpg

Review

First of all if there’s one thing I love in this world, it’s ice cream. So a new book from my fave author that’s centred around my one true love? Yes. Please!

If there’s one thing that Rae is passionate about it’s ice cream and when her family ice cream shop is passed down to her she can’t wait to bring her dreams to life. So why do her dreams suddenly become the thing of nightmares? Well, your ex-boyfriend stealing your ideas, opening your dream shop right next door and stealing your business does tend to put a dampener on things. With only a few weeks left until the height of the season begins, Rae is determined to bring her store back to life and leave her ex Chase sulking in the dirt. But when the renovations begin and Chase seems somewhat happy with her new plan, and even offers to help, Rae knows that she’s in trouble – all is fair in love and war, right?

I absolutely loved this book. I loved the banter between Rae and Chase, and of course all of the sarcasm/snark! Emma’s books never fail to make you feel good, and of course have you laughing out loud in inappropriate places (…sorry fellow train commuters).

My only complaint? I didn’t have any ice cream for whilst I read it! Definitely a 2018 must read – and whilst reading with a unicorn ice cream sundae in your other hand isn’t required, it’s certainly recommended 😉

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Which is a real problem when the attraction runs red-hot.

Ice-cream store owner Raelynn Fortune has everything but her last name—fortune.

Despite living in a Floridian hotspot for tourists, she just can’t get her business back off the ground. And she knows why.

Her rival store next door is run by nobody other than her ex, and with his fancy-schmancy concoctions, he’s taking all the clients two generations of her family cultivated. Never mind that Raelynn taught him all he knows, and his revenge for her breaking up with him was putting her plans into reality—and her almost out of business.

But, she has a plan. The height of the season is just two weeks away, and she’s tired of playing second fiddle to her ex. She’s going to take back her crown as the queen of ice cream, even if it means getting close to Chase once again.

After all, all is fair in love and war, and you know what they say about keeping your enemies close…

Although maybe Chase is a little too close…

Four Day Fling by Emma Hart

It’s Live!! Four Day Fling by Emma Hart is out today! Have you got your copy of this summer’s must have rom-com?

FOURDAYFLING-banner1live.jpg

Four Day Fling, an all-new hilarious and romantic standalone from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!

FOURDAYFLING3.jpg

Imagine this.

You’re ready to leave after a one-night stand, and you’re figuring out how to—shock horror—leave your number and ask him to be your fake boyfriend for your sister’s wedding this weekend.

When he wakes up.

Well, that happened to me. And over coffee and omelets, I found myself a date.

Which was how I ended up arriving at the wedding with a guy I knew nothing about.

I didn’t know his last name, or how we met, or how long we’d been dating. I didn’t know where he grew up, what he’d majored in in college, or how many siblings he had.

I sure as hell didn’t know he was Adam Winters, hotshot hockey player, and not only my father’s favorite player, but my little nephew’s freakin’ idol.

Which means I’m in trouble. Big, big trouble.

My mother is suspicious, my sister is bridezilla on crack, and my grandpa will tell anyone who’ll listen about his time in Amsterdam’s Red Light District.

Four days.

I have to keep this up for four days, and then Adam and I can return to our regular lives, where we don’t have sex whenever we’re alone, and my family aren’t interrogating him over his intentions with me.

At least, that’s the plan.

And we all know what happens to those.

FOURDAYFLING-image3live.jpg

Review

It’s finally here! I love Emma’s style of writing and her characters are always ones that I can’t help but love too – Poppy and Adam were no different!

With not long to go until her sister’s upcoming wedding Poppy is getting desperate. Having promised her mother that she would bring a date, she’s yet to find anyone and well – desperate times calls for desperate measures right? One very drunk one night stand later, she’s stood staring at her Mr One Night Only wondering if he’d consider being Mr Five Nights Only….that is until he catches her watching him sleep. One awkward conversation and breakfast later she’s got herself a date. Now all she has to do is convince her family that her and Adam are not-so-fake dating, survive their company for 4 days and oh, not fall in love with him – should be easy right? Yeah, maybe not…

I absolutely loved this book. Not only were Adam and Poppy great but Poppy’s family were hilarious! Their antics had me crying with laughter (very awkward on the train!) and Poppy’s character and sense of humour were brilliant – loved all the snark! A book that I couldn’t put down and made me laugh out loud the whole way through – I was so sad when it ended! Definitely an unmissable read!

Review

Eeek! It’s finally here! The final chapter in Mellie, Peyton and Chloe’s hilarious stories, concluding with Chloe’s instalment. I have so much love for the three of these girls – they’re hilarious, sarcastic, witty and I really wish I could join their group (I mean all get-togethers should include sangria, pizza and doughnuts right?!).

Chloe has been in love with Dominic since before she even really knew what love was. The problem? He’s not only her best friend’s brother but also her business partner. Plus he’s the complete opposite to her. He’s the hot mess to her organised. The guy who’s lost so many keys it’s a miracle he actually makes it into the office every day. Nevertheless, she’s still hopelessly devoted to the idiot.

After years of pent up frustration, she finally reveals to him that she “had” a crush on him whilst they had the argument that’s been brewing for a long time. After that, Chloe finally realises that she’s had enough of waiting for him and that it’s time for her to move on. In a move thats either brilliant or unbelievably stupid, she asks Dom to set her up with someone from their database. She wasn’t planning on him asking to be set up in return. Will they find each other the perfect date or will they realise that their perfect someone has been in the office next door all along?

I love love LOVE this story! I’ve been waiting for Chloe and Dom’s book ever since the girls started teasing Chloe about her feelings during Mellie’s story. The Dating Experiment was witty, laugh-out-loud funny and addictive in every way. I loved these two together, and Dom’s antics were brilliant. I will certainly miss these girls but I can’t wait for what Emma has next!

The Hook-Up Experiment by Emma Hart

The Hook-Up Experiment by Emma Hart is finally LIVE! Have you got your copy yet?!

Synopsis

1.Hate-screw my high school nemesis.
2.Remember to hate him.
3.Prove my brother wrong.
It should be easy.
It isn’t.

As the owner of Pick-A-D*ck, New Orleans’ premier hook-up website, my job is simple. Connect two people for a no-strings, no-expectations hook-up. The plus for my clients is that I’m the one who gets to sift through the d*ck pics—except this time, they’re required.

My problem? My brother, co-owner of Pick-A-D*ck’s sister dating site, doesn’t believe it’s possible to hook up with someone three times and not fall in love.
I disagree. I know it’s possible.

And my disagreement is exactly how I end up reconnected with my high school nemesis, Elliott Sloane. The guy who asked me to junior prom and then stood me up. Who egged my car when I rejected him, and convinced my senior homecoming date to ghost me.

It should be easy to hate-screw him. If only he was still that person, instead of a hot-as-hell single dad, working as a builder to make ends’ meet, fighting for custody of his daughter.

Three hook-ups.
One outcome.
Right?

(The Hook-Up Experiment is book one of the Experiment duet. If you’ve read The Upside to Being Single, this is Peyton’s story.)

Review

I’m seriously running out of ways to say how amazing Emma’s books are! Once again another fabulous read! It was hilarious, addictive and I could not put it down (nor did I want to)! After meeting Peyton in the last book I couldn’t wait to read her story – she’s bold, blunt and her quirks are brilliant.

After yet another debate about her brother’s dating website versus her hook-up website the two strike a bet – $500 says Peyton can’t sleep with the same guy 3 times and not fall in love. In the interest of being fair Peyton let’s her two besties choose the guy in question, being the stubborn girl she is she can’t possibly loose. When they choose the guy she’s spent the last decade hating…everything should be easy, right? I mean she’s spent so long hating him there’s now way she could fall for him. But what happens if all the reasons she’s hated him are all for nothing and once they’re gone only all of the reasons she once liked him remain? Can Peyton put her need to always be right aside and let her heart win?

Absolutely loved this read!! I could not put it down and was laughing out loud 99.9% of the time! Could not recommend this book enough – get your copy now!!

The Upside of Being Single by Emma Hart

It’s finally here! Take a look at Emma’s latest unmissable romantic comedy!

If anyone asks, I knew better than to flash my boobs for Mardi Gras beads.

I still don’t know why I did it.
Maybe it was the dare from my two best friends.
Maybe it was the guys on the balcony saying they’d throw Fireball shots with the beads.
Or maybe it was the quiet guy in the corner of that same balcony with piercing gray eyes, wavy dark hair, and a smile so tempting I wanted to climb up there and lick it off his face.
Maybe it was because I never thought I’d see them again.
Not that it matters. Not today.
Because the hotel I manage was finally bought-and the guy who walks in and introduces himself as my new boss is Mr. Tall, Dark, and Silent.

There are many upsides to being single.
Your new boss knowing what your boobs look like?
Not one of them.

REVIEW

I’ve been waiting not so patiently for this book to be released and as soon as it hit my kindle I practically devoured it in a matter of hours! And as with all of Emma’s books, it didn’t disappoint!

Mellie is a hotel manager in desperate need of escaping the crazy that are her current hotel guests. Luckily for her its Mardi Gras which means its an evening of drinking away her sorrows with her besties and watching a bunch of people running around without a lot of clothing on. Never did she imagine that she would be joining them, but when she’s dared to flash a group of guys for beads by one of her friends she wasn’t about to say no – even if she was braless. Wasn’t like she would ever see them again right? Wrong. Turns out one of those lucky guys was her new boss and now she’s not only stuck working for a guy who knows exactly whats underneath her clothes but he also won’t let her forget it. Now all she’s got to do is act professional and try not to throw the office furniture, or herself, at him and his ridiculous smirking face….If only it were that easy.

I have so much love for this book! I loved Jake and Mellie’s relationship – it was utterly hilarious, so much so I was either smiling like an idiot or full out belly laughing the entire way through. Mellie has to be one of my all time favourite heroines, I loved her snark and how clumsy she was. Their office war was also a particular highlight. If you’re looking for some light hearted, feel good fun this is 100% the book for you – this story is guaranteed to leave you with a giant smile on your face. I honestly couldn’t get enough of this book and cannot wait to see whats coming next!

Excerpt

“I just-I don’t get it.” I threw myself onto the sofa and almost sent the box of donuts flying onto the floor.
Thankfully, Peyton was quicker than the box. She grabbed it and sat back, hugging it to herself. “First, watch the donuts. I got the last two pink sprinkles, and I’m partial to them.” She stroked the top of the box. “Second, what don’t you get? How he doesn’t care about your boobs? I don’t care about them either.”
“You’re not supposed to care about my boobs. You’re a woman, for a start.”
“I care about your boobs,” Chloe interrupted, tucking her blond hair behind her ear. “I think you have great boobs. Bra or no bra.”
“Usually no bra,” Peyton added.
“I’m not afraid to throw something at you,” I warned her. “This is awkward.”
“Ugh! Get over yourself, Melanie!” Peyton snapped her fingers. “You are a grown woman. He is a grown man. He saw your tits. So what? Steven Lawrence saw your tits five times in junior year.”
I snatched a donut from the box. Don’t tell my hips. “We were dating! It’s entirely different!”
Chloe delicately picked up a white-iced donut before saying, “She’s right. It is different, Peyt. They were dating, and Jacob is her boss. You can’t expect her to just get over that. It is partly your fault.”
“It’s just as much your fault,” Peyton reminded her, then looked at me and nodded toward Chloe. “Drunky smurf over here shook her Tic-Tacs like she was in front of a bachelor party leaving a curry house.”
I choked on my laughter. “That’s not the point. You got us drunk. It’s almost entirely your fault.”
“Look, sunshine,” she said, tearing a bite of donut off the ring so her words were muffled. “I didn’t grab your shirt and whip it up like a two-dollar hooker on overtime. You did that, so grow a pair and take responsibility for your actions.”
“You sound like you don’t want to take responsibility for yours.”
“Hey. You’re big girls. You can refuse cocktails.”
Chloe and I shared a glance. “Refuse cocktails?” she said. “I don’t understand.”
“You have us mixed up with your other friends,” I continued. “But, wait. You don’t have other friends.”
“I have plenty of friends,” Peyt said.
“Friends without penises. Or benefits.”
She paused. “We’re not talking about me. We’re talking about your hot boss who knows what your tits look like.”
“You’re not helping.”
“I’m not trying to help. I’m trying to slap your size-eight ass into reality, you idiot.”
“Slap mine into reality and I’m putting yours on a catapult. Right into the middle of the gulf.” I tore my donut in two and gave her boobs a pointed look. “I always wondered if silicone would float.”

There’s just one problem: I hate his cocky, filthy-mouthed, sexy-as-hell guts.

She’s another story.

Whiskey Key was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, except I haven’t reached the heights I have by lying in a hammock drinking cocktails. So when Raven Archer is desperate for a chef, I offer up my skills.

I’m bored. She needs what I can give her.

Except there’s a problem: I’ve always hated her.

Her and her big, blue eyes, sassy mouth, and killer curves.

If only I didn’t want her.

Yet another amazing book from Emma! A laugh out loud and brilliant read you don’t want to miss!

Raven’s plans are finally falling into place. Her bar, the place she’s always dreamed of owning, is a booming success – dirty cocktails included. She’s now expanding her bar into food. The kitchen is in, the menus are drawn up (sort of) and all she needs now is a chef. Something that’s proving a lot harder than she first thought. With her brother unable to help, he recommends his best friend who’s visiting for the summer. Sounds like a perfect solution right? Well it would be if Parker wasn’t public enemy number one as far as Raven is concerned. But when her efforts turn up no one else suitable, and with her demanding family arriving imminently she has no choice but to hire the idiot. It’s just somewhat…unfortunate…that the idiot has become a lot more attractive since she last saw him. Will the two of them be able to work together peacefully without attacking each other in anger or lust?

I loved this!!!! The chemistry between Parker and Raven was brilliant! It was absolutely hilarious at times and intense at others. Definitely not one to be missed!

EXCERPT
I knew I was making a mistake. After what Raven said last night at dinner, I had the strongest urge to find out what her cocktail menu was. With names like Dirty Screw and The Slutwhisperer, what other gems did she have hidden on there?
Shit, what gems were hidden inside her apparently filthy mind?
I had no place to be thinking that. She was Ryan’s sister and the bane of my goddamn existence. I didn’t give a shit what was inside her head or how she came up with a filthy cocktail menu.
I was going to believe that she’d spent stupid amounts of time on the Internet coming up with those kinds of names. Seeing her in that damn short dress yesterday had already affected me enough—not to mention the fact that she’d changed since I last saw her.
I didn’t know people could change so much in only three years, but Raven Archer had. She was no longer post-grad, trying to seriously figure out what she wanted to do with her life, uncertain and serving burgers to people to make money.
She was grown-up, in more ways than just her age. She was even hotter-headed that she was back then. She seemed stronger and more stubborn, and her tongue was so sharp I probably have scars from how quickly she cut me with her words.
She was taller and fucking curvier, too.
Her lips were fuller. Her eyes were brighter. And the general air that hung about her, that hint of sass and sexiness, the very same thing that made me insult her whenever I opened my mouth almost made me want her, too.
And that was exactly why I couldn’t sit and think about what went on in her mind—filthy or otherwise.
No matter what she looked like or how fucking hot she was, she was my best friend’s sister. Nobody was more off-limits than she was. That wasn’t a new development. It had always been that way.
Thank fucking god I was only here for the summer, and only because my mother had guilted me into it.
As soon as the summer was over, I’d go for my next challenge.
I could get through a few weeks of being in the same town or two as Raven—because after today, avoidance was at the top of my life.
Otherwise, I’d go fucking insane.
Dirty was right on the seafront, only meters away from a small, sandy bay. It’d only taken me a few minutes to walk here from where I’d parked downtown, and despite the music coming from inside the bar, I could still hear the gentle crashing of the waves as they crawled up the sand. The water was right out, and I stared out at the water as I headed up the hill to the bar.
Fairy lights twinkled along the underside of the roof that jutted out over the sidewalk. It was like a goddamn princess castle from the outside, but the beachy vibe was evident. Different sized and colored shells covered the pillars that held up the balcony that jutted out over the front doors.
I pushed open the door. Cold air blasted into me, and so did the heavy bass beat of the music that blared out from the speakers just above my head. There were more fairy lights inside, but they were strung all beneath the bar, across the beams on the ceiling, and over the back wall where the spirits were on the wall. There wasn’t much else in the way of lighting, but what there was was effective enough in holding the entire space into a balance between bright and dusky.
The inside of Raven’s bar was like being outside at the moment the sun set.
I cast my gaze over the rest of the bar. The solid, wood tables and stools that lines the walls and filled the space to my left all had tiny vases of fresh flowers in. Even those were surrounded by fairy lights.
Fucking hell, did she let a class of little girls in here to decorate?
No matter what I felt about the fairy lights, it looked good. Damn good.
I stepped up to the bar and leaned forward on it. Raven was at the other end of the bar, wearing jeans and a tight tank top that tucked beneath the waistband. Strappy, silver heels on her feet glinted off the under-bar lighting, and it was all too easy for me to drop my eyes there then slowly drag my gaze up the length of her entire body.
Light bounced off the chrome cocktail shaker in her hand as she shook it. She popped off the top with one slick of her thumb, and without spilling a drop, poured the pink-red liquid into two martini-style glasses. With her other hand, she reached back to the register and jabbed at it.
Seconds later, she was handing them back their change. It all happened in a flash.
How did such she go from lost to…this…so quick?
“Raven!” A dark-haired woman sitting a few stools away from me with her friend yelled. “There’s a hot guy staring at you!”
I laughed loudly as Raven jerked around. Her gaze landed on me with what felt like a snap, and I swore she mouthed, “Motherfucker,” before she stalked to this end of the bar.
Her hands slapped on the bar in front of me. “What are you doing here?”
“I told you I was coming to check out your menu.”
“He was checking out more than the menu,” the woman’s friend giggled.
Raven held her finger up to them, and with her other hand, slapped a smooth, laminated menu in front of me. “Did you drive?”
“No, I walked all the way from Key West.” I picked up the menu. “Of course I drove.”
“Pick one,” she said, moving away. “I’m not serving you anymore than that. Make it a good choice. What can I get for you?” she asked someone else, cutting me off before I could say a word.
I raised my eyebrows.
“She runs a tight ship,” the first woman said. “Three days ago, there was a guy in here spiking drinks. She caught him and bashed him in the balls with her cocktail shaker so he couldn’t run from the security guard.”
Could my eyebrows go up any higher? “That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I’ve seen her do worse.”
The second woman’s eyes narrowed. “You have? You know her?”
The first woman rolled her eyes. “Of course he does, Cam. When have you seen her react to a customer like that? He obviously pissed her off in a past life or something.”
“I should be so lucky.” I smirked. “More like all in this life.”
“Her brother’s friend, right?” She tilted her head to the side. “Yeah, she mentioned she hated you.”
She’d talked about me?
“She didn’t say you were hot, though,” the second woman said.
“Camille!”
Ahhh.
The best friends.
“What?” Camille said. “I’m just saying.”
“No more Slutwhisperers for you,” the other woman—the one I presumed to be Lani—said, reaching for her glass.
Camille leaned over and slurped the last of the drink through the straw.
That explained the name of the cocktail.
“What are you doing?” Raven asked, stopping in front of them. “Cam? Your glass is empty. Let me refill that for you.” She winked to the other girl as she turned around.
What was she doing?
She put her back to her friends and grabbed the tequila bottle. She tipped it over a cocktail shaker without actually pouring anything into it. My lips quirked up as she put together what was some pink juice or something and blended it with raspberries.
She poured the mixture into a glass with some vigor in front of Camille.
She’d made her a placebo.
“Made your choice?” Raven turned to me, holding onto the shaker.
“No.” I spun the menu to face her. “What do you think I should have?”
Completely straight-faced, she said, “The Blue Balls.”
